Safe Approach training is committed to the ongoing development of health care cultures that aim to prevent behaviors that challenge. The focus of teaching is of upholding human rights implementing person centered approach strategies that aim to minimise behaviors that may challenge. Training will include all relevant legislative frameworks that are essential to promoting safe professional practice. Training will provide an increased understanding of possible root causes of behavior and will focus on prevention, de-escalation and reflective practice. The overall aim of training is to improve the quality of life of people that may display or be responsible for providing care for people with challenging behaviors. Focus will be on a reduction in restrictive intervention practices. All training will align to the RRN training standards that provide a national and international benchmark for training. Training that is Compliant with the RRN training standards is an expectation of NHS commissioned and CQC regulated services (RRN 2020).
