With an extensive background in Healthcare over 20 years working in children, adult, learning disabilities and elderly services Jason has been qualified as a GSA Tutor since 2003. Within that time Jason gained a vast amount of experience training in the private and public sector, being competent in lesson planning for short training courses and more advanced comprehensive provisions. One of the most proactive strategies Jason utilises is the ability to create bespoke situations to cater for any attendees needing that little bit of refinement and precision. In 2021 Jason won an award for innovation with regards to person centred care at the STAR ceremony. He has also studied Autism in depth which serves itself perfectly to our current clients who need a different approach to that of Mental Health needs training.

Marcus has an extensive background in Mental health, forensic settings and Learning disabilities spanning over 30 years working within a team dynamic and then specialising in a career as an Activities Coordinator. Marcus is an energetic individual who brings a lot of dynamicity to the team, he is very motivated and has a unique ability to build trusting relationships with students. Marcus has been a GSA (General Services Tutor) since 2016 whilst working in a medium secure setting and has facilitated with Safe Approach Training since 2017 now becoming a partner in the company where his experiences, qualifications and proactive approach has been well received.

 All tutors working for Safe Approach training have attended an initial 3-week GSA tutor course and are annually updated and assessed by senior GSA tutors. All tutors maintain an ongoing professional portfolio and GSA membership providing assurance that all elements of training align to GSA guidance. All tutors also have an in date First aid and BLS certificate.

To ensure the delivery of ongoing high-quality training in line with GSA guidance and RRN training standards all training is evaluated by participants post-delivery. All tutors comply with ongoing evaluation, in addition to their GSA portfolio tutors will complete reflective self-evaluation and undergo peer tutor review by internal Safe Approach tutors and external GSA tutors. This process will feed into Safe Approach’s continuous improvement cycle of learning. Safe Approach Training is committed to delivering training that is individualised and of the highest quality in line with RRN training standards and GSA guidance.
